About

A designer who codes, an engineer who tells stories.

I'm Ali Ogul. I started out in visual communication and digital design — Istanbul, then London — and spent years as a freelance designer and developer making mobile games, 3D animation, interior visualizations, and web platforms.

Today I'm an ICT Specialist at the United Nations World Food Programme, where I put technology to work for humanitarian operations. Outside of that, I keep building, modelling, and writing — this journal has been going, in Turkish and English, since 2009.
